Fun bedroom update for a 6 year old
Kids grow up so fast and sometimes it makes sense to hold off on investing in any major room makeovers. It does not mean, however, that their space should be boring and without character. Choosing practical furniture like IKEA, the right color palette, and some imagination, can help create a fun space that can be easily changed in a few years time without taking a hit on the budget.
In this mini project we were to design a cool space for a 6 year old boy who loves to draw, play with cars, read, and hang out with his friends. We needed to work on a tight budget, so IKEA was an obvious choice for the main furniture pieces. We came up with the layout that would provide space for studying and playing, new color palette, and dressed up the room with custom made accessories and soft furnishings.
